I really like how you opened up you narative. At first you tried to persuade the reader that perhaps you were a girly girl, when in fact you enjoyed playing video games, which is sometimes stereotyped as beong a boys hobby. Many people overlook the fact that girls enjoy videogames too. The change in mood from the beginning to the end was also a nice touch.
